On July 4th 2017 the Water and Sewerage Company Inc. (WASCO) held the pipe laying ceremony for the Babonneau pipe upgrade project. The aim of the project is to replace the current 6inch water pipes with a 10 inch from the Hill 20 treatment plant to the water storage facility at La Croix, as a step towards enhancing the water security and reliability of the community of Babonneau. The project was introduced by WASCO General Manager Mr. Edmund Regis.
